How do I create a vocabulary?

NEII vocabularies are created using PoolParty software, a commercial off the shelf product, which allows users to create and manage SKOS compliant vocabularies.

How do I publish a vocabulary?

The NEII vocabulary service uses Research Vocabulaires Australia (RVA) to publish vocabularies. For all NEII vocabularies, RVA publisher is used to publish, view and manage vocabularies. When a vocabulary is published in RVA it becomes available in the RVA portal for users and the general public to access.

How do I search vocabularies in NEII vocabulary service?

NEII environmental vocabularies can be searched using the Research Vocabulary Australia (RVA) portal.

How do I maintain different versions of a vocabulary?

NEII vocabulary service allows users to edit and manage vocabularies in PoolParty. The changes in a vocabulary for a new version can be done in PoolParty. Version can be defined while publishing the vocabulary in the RVA. You can specify the version name, release date, release notes etc. which can be accessed by the user in the RVA portal after publication.
