NEMSR vocabularies
These pages provide the controlled list of terms (vocabularies) for the NEMSR.

- Network Environmental Theme – a thematic classification of the network.
- Site Status – the operating status of the site.

- Observed Property – the environmental phenomenon (property) being measured at the site, for example, streamflow, soil moisture, or air pressure. The initial list of observed properties is based on a subset of NASA's Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) Science and Services keywords (http://gcmd.nasa.gov/learn/keyword_list.html).
- Data Availability – the availability of observation data.
- Sampling Regime – the frequency of site observations. The initial list of sampling regimes is based on a subset of NASA's Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) Temporal Data Resolution keywords (http://gcmd.nasa.gov/learn/keyword_list.html).
